We are excited to announce that we have renamed our prayer and worship project the "Upper Room." This change reflects who we are and also communicates how the prayer room is the center of this project and how we are a community prayer room for all. Our prayer room schedule, project goals, values, and “Up & Out” lifestyle all remain the same. The name itself stems from the Acts 1 and 2 model of gathering daily for prayer (Acts 1) followed by revival (Acts 2). This has been our heart and vision from the beginning. When we pray and seek, God moves, and often we become the answers to our own prayers!
While this rebranding has only been effective since July, we’re already seeing more students, pastors, and leaders engage in the prayer room. They are leading prayer, serving on worship teams, and using the prayer room to spend time with God. God is drawing more and more to the Upper Room to connect with Him, to intercede with others, and give themselves to worship.
